I began movement and meditation practices in childhood and have always been interested in the connection between mind, body, and spirit.
During my Masters of Fine Arts training in theater, I studied breathing and movement techniques including yoga, Tai Chi, Alexander Technique, Linklater, Jerzy Grotowski's vocal sequencing, and Lee Strasberg's sensory relaxation techniques. All of these inform my practice.
After two major thoracic surgeries, and some other health issues, I deepened my meditation practice and it has become a crucial part of my recovery and wellness. I am passionate about sharing the practice with fellow yogis as we grow together.
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and a certified Yoga Nidra instructor.
